I absolutely adore ammonites, and silver metal clay is the perfect medium to create replicas from my collection of these gorgeous fossils. And then it seems only natural to play with spirals and use etching chemicals to create designs inspired by ammonite forms and Fibonacci sequences.  Most of this current collection is accented with labradorite beads, simply because they evoke a sense of water, the habitat of the ancient sea creatures that have inspired this collection.
