Statement Organic Pendant
Part of my Weirdlings Range, where I play with texture, shape and colour using a range of techniques and patinas to create contemporary organic designs, conjuring a sense of the ancient with a modern twist.
This statement organic pendant (4.5cm across and a touch over 4cm deep) has been textured with intense heat, pierced, set with a clear cubic zirconia, enhanced with chain strands, a claw set Herkimer quartz, a super clear Herkimer quartz bead, a tourmaline included Herkimer bead and given a golden and smokey with hints of colour patina that will change over time, a true Weirdling piece.
It's quite a delicate piece despite how it initially looks, so is very easy to wear.
It is designed to sit on the collarbone (approximately 18" in total) and the chain features a hand made hook closure with a third Herkimer bead at the other end.
Care Instructions
Silver loves to be worn and hates to be ignored. If you do put your item away, however carefully, it will take on a dark colour which we call tarnish. It's very hard to stop silver from tarnishing but I have some solutions for you - use some warm soapy water and a soft toothbrush and give it a gentle scrub, rinse it, dry it with a soft cloth or towel and then give it a little tickle with the small polishing cloth I have included with your order to bring it back to its shiny glory.
Packaging
All of my packaging is created from recycled and recyclable card, including the care card. Items are wrapped in acid free tissue paper and secured with paper tape and placed inside a hand printed pillow box. Once the paper tape has been removed and the stamp removed from your outer packaging the boxes can be reused, composted or placed in your recycling bin.
